Better Capacity Access Care at the Melbourne Disability Expo 2025
Location: Bunjil Place in Narre Warren, Victoria
Date & Time: July 12, 2025/ 12pm – 4pm
The winter air in Narre Warren carried a vibrant energy on Saturday, 12th of July 2025, as hundreds gathered at Bunjil Place for one of the most anticipated events in the disability support community, the Melbourne Disability Expo. From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the venue was filled with families, NDIS participants, carers, and providers, all coming together to celebrate inclusion, explore new opportunities, and connect with services that make a real difference in people’s lives.
Among the many passionate providers at the event, Better Capacity Access Care stood out, not just for what we offer, but for how we show up. With our commitment to delivering genuine, person-centred care, we came to the expo with a single goal: to meet people where they are, listen to their stories, and help them access the support they deserve.
Real Connections, Real Support
Our team welcomed visitors with open arms, sharing information about the supports we provide, from daily personal care and assistance with household tasks, to community participation, transport support, and in-home nursing care. For us, it’s not just about ticking boxes, it’s about building trust, offering real solutions, and empowering individuals to live with more confidence and independence.
The expo wasn’t your usual formal set-up. It felt more like a community fair, there was face painting for the kids, a prize draw, free treats, and plenty of smiles all around. But in the middle of all the fun was something deeply meaningful: honest conversations between people looking for support and providers who truly care.
And that’s exactly what Better Capacity Access Care is all about—care that’s personal, flexible, and grounded in respect.
Meet Estella Wonnah – Our Heart and Vision
Estella Wonnah
Manager Director of Better Capacity Access Care
Leading the way at the expo was our Managing Director, Estella Wonnah, whose story is at the heart of what we do.
Estella has been working in the disability and healthcare sector for over a decade. She holds a Diploma of Nursing and is currently continuing her studies, building on years of experience as a support worker and nurse assistant. Her background is rich in hands-on care—ranging from assisting clients with daily routines to supporting individuals with more complex health needs.
As the Managing Director of Better Capacity Access Care, Estella brings more than just experience, she brings a deep sense of empathy and purpose. She understands the real challenges many families face in navigating the NDIS and accessing the right support. Her leadership reflects a commitment to delivering care that listens, adapts, and genuinely walks alongside each person on their journey.

At the expo, Estella spent time engaging with attendees, answering questions, and sharing how our team works with clients to create support plans that are practical, empowering, and truly tailored to the individual.
Meet Mama Johnson
Among the many passionate attendees at the Melbourne Disability Expo was Mama Johnson, a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience working in hospitals and clinical care. Her presence at the event reflected the diversity of professionals who are deeply connected to the disability and healthcare community.
With her background in nursing care, including areas such as medication management, continence support, diabetes care, and general health assessments. Mama Johnson’s attendance was a quiet but powerful reminder of the importance of skilled healthcare in the lives of people with disability.
While she attended independently, her role as a long-standing nurse and advocate for quality care aligns with the values we uphold at Better Capacity Access Care. It was inspiring to see so many experienced and compassionate professionals coming together to explore how we can all contribute to more inclusive, person-centred support across the NDIS landscape.
Why We Showed Up
Our team didn’t just come to the expo to hand out flyers. We came to connect, to listen, and to learn. Because we believe that the best care starts with a real conversation.
Events like the Melbourne Disability Expo matter because they open the door for people to feel seen, heard, and supported. They help break down barriers and remind us all that we’re not alone in the journey. Whether you’re a participant trying to understand your NDIS plan, a parent searching for the right supports for your child, or a carer juggling a thousand responsibilities, we’re here for you.
At Better Capacity Access Care, we’re committed to being a provider that you can trust, not just today, but for the long road ahead.
Let’s Keep the Conversation Going
To everyone who stopped by our booth, thank you. Your stories, your questions, and your smiles reminded us why we do what we do.
And if we didn’t get a chance to meet you at the expo, we’d love to connect. Whether you’re new to the NDIS or already receiving support, our team is here to help you understand your options, maximise your plan, and get the care that’s right for you.
Because at Better Capacity Access Care, we believe access isn’t just about services, it’s about dignity, choice, and living life on your own terms.
